What We Believe

The Foursquare Church was established in the early 1920’s on a four-fold core belief that Jesus Christ is our Savior, our Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, our Healer, and our Soon-Coming King.

We believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, came and gave His life to save mankind from the curse of sin, and to restore our relationship with God. He lived a sinless exemplary life by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus baptizes believers with the Holy Spirit to give us the strength to live a pure life and the ability to serve others for His glory.

We believe that as He healed people when He walked the earth, He now calls His Church to lay hands on the sick with prayer to administer His healing power. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and it promises that one day Jesus Christ will return as our King, in power and glory, and will gather His Church to enjoy eternal life in the presence of our God.
